Run For Your Life was a climate performance and a relay from the Arctic to Paris. A call for climate justice produced by Riksteatern.

Together we carried a stone from the Arctic sea, passing through Sápmi, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and ending in Paris at the climate conference COP21. The race involved thousands of people, covering over 4000 kilometres and lasted for about 20 days in November 2015.

“There are times when we must accept small steps forward – and there are other times when you need to run like a buffalo.  Now is the time to run!”     —  HENRY RED CLOUD, LAKOTA EDUCATOR

Every participant shared their own story and their personal reasons for running in this race. More than a 100 local events were organised all along the route of the relay. More than 60000 unique viewers followed the relay online.
